I am a former Clevelander. I visit friends every year in North Ridgeville. We went a few weeks ago to Put-in-Bay, and we had a great time even though it rained for 2 hrs. The island is beautiful. My husband, nephew, and I went to Put-in-Bay. The ferry boat ride to and from the island was wonderful. We didn't take our car but there was a bus waiting as we arrived to take us into town. The island was beautiful! So much to see and do! There were lots of gift shops and restaurants. The walleye fresh fish was delicious. My memory of when we went to Lake Erie was so much fun. We saw the big tower (Perry's Monument?), and the first time I went there I was three. The next time I was six and a bird pooped on me. The last time was in 2008. It was so, so, so, so, so much fun. The first time we went on the golf-carts, and the other times we rode bikes.
