This public art exhibition of 28 six-foot tall lighthouses, each individually designed by local artists, will be on display in different locations throughout the Sandusky area. Maps are available at the Lake Erie Shores & Islands Welcome Center East and the Merry-Go-Round Museum for a $1.00 donation that benefits the American Red Cross.

Marblehead Lighthouse State Park

State Park, access from dawn to dusk. Open for tours: May 27 - Aug 29, Mon - Fri: 1-4:45pm, 2nd Sat of every month Jun - Oct, 10am-3pm. Open Oct 11 for Autumn Lighthouse Festival: 10am - 3pm. Closed holidays. Museum same hours as lighthouse.

Port Clinton Lighthouse

Only the top portion has been saved. Located at Brands Marina, 451 W. Lakeshore Dr., Port Clinton. You can get views of this light from the SR 163 drawbridge across the Portage River near downtown Port Clinton.  It’s best to park in the downtown area and walk to the bridge. Follow the sidewalk along the west side of the bridge and look for the lighthouse about one block upstream, on the right (north) riverbank.

South Bass Island Lighthouse
