Port Clinton Power Squadron

The Port Clinton Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squardron.  The mission of the U.S. Power Squadron is to maintain, enhance, and promote USPS as the premier boating organization dedicated to "Safe Boating Through Education".  The Power Squadron offers Vessel Safety Inspections of numerous boats each year.  Those passing inspection will be issued a decal indicating that your vessel has been inspected.  The squadron also offers Public Boating Courses.  The 2008 course schedule is as follows: May 3, 2008.  The courses are held in two sessions on consecutive Saturdays with registration beginning at 8 am.  There is no charge for the class, but there is a $25.00 charge for materials.  Spouses may attend at no additional charge. The squadron will also hold its Commanders Ball on May 17, 2008 at the Port Clinton Yacht Club, as well as an their Annual Auction on June 14 at the Catawba Island Community Center (doors open at 5 p.m.).

VHF Marine Radio 69 & 16, Toll Free 877.798.5194 Hours: 7:00am to 11:00pm everyday from May 1st through October 15th.,Towing and salvage crews are on-duty 24 hours a day.  The radios are monitored as the weather warrants before May 1st and after October 15th, Our office is equipped with the following: Two licensed 50watt VHF marine base station radios Two VHF marine band scanners One licensed 50watt industrial business band radio for internal communications 110' tower Calls are received at the office by telephone and by VHF Marine radio.
